“My own personal home bar. I’m a music lover and themed the bar around that and my affinity for movie and sports entertainment as well. The ‘face’ of the bar is completely sculpted by hand – as are the sides – utilizing ‘stack laminated 2×6’s’ with chainsaw, multiple grinder shaping heads and sanders. The pine columns/under bar ends were trees I cut & hewn, debarked, then sanded to finish. My 1st foray into brick masonry on backbar.”
Bartop is a wood called 'Monkeypod', native to South America and Hawaii. Naturally 'figured' wood shows almost 3-dimensional characteristics. Also named 'ACACIA' wood.
